Activities

Your 1 Day Tsavo East Safari will start early in the morning from Mombasa in a private pop up top 4x4WD safari tour vehicle for an authentic wilderness trip to the majestic Tsavo East National Park. After driving for around a 2½ hours journey through the Mombasa-Nairobi highway, you will enter the Tsavo East National Park through ‘Bachuma’ entry gate for your expedition. After a few brief stop-over near the gate for refreshment, you will be checked-in the park with an expert guide/driver. Then start your immediate search for wild animals. Pass via the Aruba Dam to see how animals gather in search of drinking water (during the dry season it dries up) then you proceed to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, continue with a game-drive looking for the animals and bird species found in the national Park.

1 Day Tsavo East Safari day trip is a dawn to dusk tour and offers the break to spend at least six to seven hours of maximum wildlife and backdrop viewing at the park. The game drive safari in Tsavo East will be prolonged up to 15.00 hrs when you will drive back to Mombasa. Starting the trip very early in the morning can be an added advantage to this day trip as you will reach at the park in the early hours when the sun is not hot, so you might enjoy much game viewing opportunity.
